Zoo Fun, and Snowy Weather

Here are some pictures from our last trip to the zoo when the weather was nice:

We've had the BEST weather this past week! It felt like Spring, it was so nice! But today a big snow storm came in and reminded me that it is still Winter.

Riley was supposed to have her Valentines Party at school today, but all the schools were canceled because of the snow. She was really sad that she didn't get to go to school :( I told her we'd have our own Valentines Party at home, and that seemed to cheer her up a little.

Dentist

Riley and Ryan both went to the dentist yesterday. This dentist was so good with the kids, and both kids did a great job. They actually had a lot of fun...they didn't want to leave!

Weekend Pictures

Riley and Ryan love to play with the trains at Barnes and Noble

Ryan thinks that anything that is scary is called Voldemort. When he was playing with the trains I asked him where Voldemort was and he pointed to the Thomas heads....I've always thought they were kinda scary looking too!

Words cannot even express how grateful we are that our little boy is healthy! Just thinking about the possibility that something may have been wrong was terrifying! Thank you to everyone for all your prayers and support! I feel like we have the best friends and family ever!

The kids had a fun time at the zoo even though it was a little cold. Ryan was so excited to see all of the animals. I think his favorite were the tigers. Riley said that her favorite part today was when we saw the seahorses and sea dragons.

Baby Boy!

Most of you probably already know this, but we found out last week that we are having a boy! We are really excited and can't wait to meet him! The ultrasound was really fun. He was moving a lot and both Riley and Ryan got to see him.

I think Riley may have been a little disappointed...I think she wanted a baby sister....when we told her that she was going to have a baby brother she told us that she "didn't want one"! I'm sure she will be really excited to have another brother once he is here!

I think this may be one of the most obvious "money shots" I have ever seen. There's no mistaking this one's a boy!

Now we just need to decide on a name....I already had a girl's name picked out, but for some reason boy's names are so much harder for me!!

Christmas at home
