County Fair

On Friday we took the kids to the Sarpy County Fair. I think this was the first time we've been to a County or State Fair since we've lived in Nebraska. We had a lot of fun! The kids really liked the petting zoo. There were a bunch of baby goats, some donkeys, an ostrich, a couple of llamas, and a big furry cow thingy.

After we went to the petting zoo, we let the kids each pick one ride to go on. Riley chose to go on this huge slide, and Ryan wanted to ride the cars.

Riley liked the fair, but she didn't like all the loud noises from the rides. She had her hands over her ears for a lot of the time


The guy that was in charge of the big bouncy thing let the kids play on it for free!

After about a minute he started jumping with the other kids and had a lot of fun. You can see Riley jumping with her hands over her ears.

Zoo Time :)

The weather has been SO nice here this past week. On Saturday we took the kids to the zoo. It was really busy, but we all had a good time!




This was Cooper's 3rd visit to the zoo! He really likes riding in his baby carrier.

I think Riley's favorite thing is the carousel! She was just laughing the whole time.

Ryan was excited until the carousel started, then he got scared and held on to Casey for most of the ride.

He decided he liked the carousel after it was over :)

I keep meaning to put more pictures of Cooper on the blog, but I just keep on getting further behind! Cooper is now 8 weeks old and weighs about 14 lbs! He is such a sweet little guy and we love him so much! Ryan is always giving him loves, and Riley thinks it's pretty cool that she has TWO younger brothers. Here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks.

Cooper's Blessing

I'm a little behind on the blog, but I wanted to post some pictures of Cooper's blessing. He was blessed on June 24th and it was so nice to have Grandpa and Grandma Wood, and Grandpa and Grandma Taylor there.

4th of July

This year we didn't get to see any of the big firework shows, but we still had fun doing some small fireworks at home with Riley and Ryan. We bought some snaps, flowers, snakes, tanks, and a couple of fireworks that shot parachutes in the air. I think the kids liked the snakes the best.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to Casey, and to my Dad. I think I have the best dad ever, and I'm glad that my kids can say the same thing about Casey. You two really are wonderful! Thank you for all that you do. I love you!

3 Weeks Old

It's hard to believe that Cooper is 3 weeks old! He's changed so much and he's starting to get pretty chubby! We've already had to put away a bunch of his onesies that he's outgrown. Right now his eyes are blue, but I guess we'll have to wait and see if they stay that way.
