Easter Fun

On Saturday Casey took the kids to the Lauritzen Gardens to see the Easter Bunny!


This picture makes me laugh. Ryan didn't really know what to think about the bunny....Casey had to keep pushing him closer so he could get a picture.

Then later that afternoon, Village Green had it's annual Easter Egg hunt down at the playground.

Here's Ryan getting some eggs. He only picked up a couple before he wanted to find out what was inside!

Riley is pretty competitive and so she ended up getting a lot more eggs than Ryan did. She was nice and shared some of her eggs with Ryan :)

Ryan was happy to find that most of the eggs had candy in them.

Our Family---by Riley

Riley drew this picture of our family today at church. She was so excited to show me and Casey. She had to point out who each person was, pointing out Daddy, Mommy, Ryan, and Riley. After she pointed out Ryan she said, "Oh Man! I forgot to draw hair on Ryan!".

It's fun to see all of the cute little pictures she's been drawing! Here are a couple of pictures she drew a little while ago:

The kids had so much fun when Grandma and Grandpa came to visit! We went to the zoo on Friday and the weather was SO nice! We had a great time!

Stuck Inside

Riley and Ryan both had the chicken pox this past week and so we've all been stuck inside for the whole week. Poor Riley was so sad she couldn't go to school.

Being stuck inside for a week is hard on the kids, but they do find things to keep themselves entertained.....yesterday they decided to have a long jump competition!

Zoo Fun, and Snowy Weather

Here are some pictures from our last trip to the zoo when the weather was nice:

We've had the BEST weather this past week! It felt like Spring, it was so nice! But today a big snow storm came in and reminded me that it is still Winter.

Riley was supposed to have her Valentines Party at school today, but all the schools were canceled because of the snow. She was really sad that she didn't get to go to school :( I told her we'd have our own Valentines Party at home, and that seemed to cheer her up a little.
