Some Old Photos

Today we took the kids to the zoo. We went to the Desert Dome and then to the Kingdoms of the Night. Ryan loved it! I have some pictures to put up on the blog, but my camera is charging right now and so I probably won't get them on until tomorrow. I have some free time right now and I wanted to blog about something! So here are just some random pictures from when Riley was little:

Here's me, Megan, Dad, and Riley with Grandma and Grandpa Wood.

I really like this picture of Riley and Mal. They are so beautiful :)
Me and Riley and one of my track meets at BYU.
Hopefully I'll see her on the track someday!

Valentine Fun

For Valentine's Day this year we decided to do something with the whole family. Casey came up with the idea to go to Chuck E Cheese's. I wasn't so sure at first, but I'm glad we ended up going. It was SO fun! I hadn't been the Chuck E Cheese's since I was a little kid {back when it was called Showbiz Pizza}.
Do you remember this?!
I still remember that black gorilla playing the keyboard...he will haunt my dreams forever, haha.

I still vividly remember this scene from my childhood...and I remember it freaked me out a little.

I wan't sure what to expect when we took the kids to Chuck E Cheese's. I didn't know if they still had the freaky animatronic robot band. Well, they did! Just different {and maybe a little less freaky} characters.

Here's Riley and Ryan watching the band play some songs {including songs from Miley Cyrus, Cyndi Lauper, & The Beetles}. I thought they might be scared of the animatronic robot things, but they actually liked them.

It was fun watching the kids ride on the rides, and play the different games. I played some the the games, too :)  I even broke the record in the NFL football toss game and won 100 tickets! I was pretty pround of myself, haha.
Lots of fun memories! It was really one the funnest Valentine's Days I've ever had. Maybe next year we'll do something more romantic...or maybe we'll just go to Chuck E Cheese's again!

Zelda is the Princess, Not the Guy With the Sword :)

Ryan has been obsessed with "The Legend of Zelda." His favorite thing to do right now is to dress up as "Zelda" {Link} and pretend he's fighting all the bad guys. It's really cute! We've tried to tell him that the name is actually Link, not Zelda, but he seems to like the name Zelda better. We had to buy him a "Zelda" hat at the store so he could dress up. He wears his hat, boots, and gloves, and he uses a little pillow for his shield.

Riley had her Valentines Party at school today. She was excited to pass out Valentines to all of her friends!
Here she is with her Valentines box.

Cooper is finally feeling a lot better. He loves to crawl around and explore.
He is such a sweet little boy! I just can't get enough of him!

Happy Birthday Ryan!

I can't believe my little boy is 3 years old! He has been so excited for his birthday, and I think he had a lot of fun at his party. He loved playing with all his friends!

Singing Happy Birthday!
Trying to blow out his candles....Nahoa gave him a little help :)

We were so glad that my parents were able to come to Omaha to celebrate Ryan's birthday with us! The kids were so excited to see them!
Riley and Ryan had fun playing in the snow with Grandpa.
Grandpa and the birthday boy.

Poor Cooper has been sick the whole time my parents have been here. It's so sad! I hope he gets feeling better soon.
Today my parents took Riley and Ryan out to see a movie. We love it when Grandma and Grandpa are here!!

A New Month :)

These pictures were taken a couple of weeks ago. I can't believe how deep the snow was...it was taller than Riley in some places! Since then the snow has started to melt (a little) and the the temperatures have gotten a little warmer. It was nice to see the sun this past week! I think it had been about 10 days with no sun. Kinda depressing!

Hopefully February will bring us lots more sun, and no more snow. I'm pretty much done with the snow....I'd better be able to wear my flip-flops every day this month!

Ryan will be turing 3 years old on Friday. He is so excited! I am so glad that my parents are coming for his birthday. Ryan is such a fun little boy. He loves The Legend of Zelda, Teen Titans, Ninja Turtles, and Avatar the Last Airbender. He likes to dress up as "Zelda" and pretend he's fighting the bad guys.

Cooper loves to crawl! He is already causing lots of mischief, and he's having a lot of fun being able to get around.

He can stand up....he's growing up so fast!
I love his face in this picture....he was pretty excited about being able to stand up :)
