On Saturday we went to the zoo. It was nice weather and the kids had a fun time. Riley and Ryan are at fun ages where they both really enjoy looking at and learning about the animals.
This sign is actually pretty accurate :)
Cooper slept most of the time
Watching the cute little otters swimming around

I love her brown eyes!
Having fun
Cooper woke up while the kids were riding on the carousel
Going to the zoo with Daddy is so much fun!
This is one of my favorite pictures. I like her cute little crooked smile.
We enjoyed the nice, cooler weather by spending lots of time outside:
Riley and Ryan had fun singing at Music Time:
One day we had to wake up early so we could drive Daddy to work!
Riley was excited to wear her cute butterfly clips that her talented Aunt Becca made!
Cooper had fun hangin out with Daddy while Mommy went to Card Night with the girls!
We had a lot of fun playing dress-up!
We spotted this little skeleton running around scaring all the neighborhood kids
Ryan has been telling us that he wants to be Voldemort, a skeleton, a spider, or a ghost for Halloween. We saw this skeleton costume at Walmart and Ryan seemed pretty excited about it so we got it for him for Halloween. When we got home we had him try it on to make sure it would fit. I just laughed when I first saw him in his costume, it was pretty cute. (He didn't really scare the kids...they were all having fun!)
On Saturday we went to the zoo and had so much fun! I'll post some pictures soon!
Along with school, Riley also started her dance class this month! They meet once a week and she has so much fun dancing and socializing with her friends.

Here's the whole class lined up and getting ready to do some leaps! It was SO cute to watch them! Here's a video of Skylynn and Riley doing their amazing leaps.
Riley had her first day of school a couple of weeks ago. She was really excited to finally start school again after having all summer off. Riley still has the same teacher as last year, but this year they meet in a different building.
Riley's new school.
Riley was excited for her first day of school!

Ryan was a little sad after we dropped Riley off. On the ride home he kept on asking "Where's Riley?". He wasn't sure what to do without her. He cheered up a little after we got home and noticed that Riley had left her CD player out. He ran right over to it and started playing with it.
After playing with it for a few minutes he decided he was bored and told me he wanted to go lay down and take a nap. I guess it's pretty boring without Riley around! He's always happy when it's time to go and pick her up from school.
Last month my family came to visit and we had so much fun! This was the first time that all the cousins have been together. Riley and Ryan loved seeing them and playing with them. They are always asking me when Cameron, Ethan, and Allie are going to come and visit again!
We all went to the Lauritzen Gardens and took some cute pictures
All the Grandbabies with Grandma and Grandpa
Having fun with Grandpa and the Gardens
They loved watching the trains

I love this one of Ryan and Cameron. Cute little buddies :)
I haven't updated the blog for a long time! I do have a lot of pictures that I've been wanting to put up. Hopefully I'll find some time to put some up tomorrow!
On Friday we took the kids to the Sarpy County Fair. I think this was the first time we've been to a County or State Fair since we've lived in Nebraska. We had a lot of fun! The kids really liked the petting zoo. There were a bunch of baby goats, some donkeys, an ostrich, a couple of llamas, and a big furry cow thingy.
Feeding and petting the donkey
Lots of goats
After we went to the petting zoo, we let the kids each pick one ride to go on. Riley chose to go on this huge slide, and Ryan wanted to ride the cars.

Ryan had so much fun riding in his car
Riley liked the fair, but she didn't like all the loud noises from the rides. She had her hands over her ears for a lot of the time
The guy that was in charge of the big bouncy thing let the kids play on it for free!
Here's a picture of Ryan when first went inside...he was a little scared at first
After about a minute he started jumping with the other kids and had a lot of fun. You can see Riley jumping with her hands over her ears.
